About me
Bartosz "Bart" Pieczyński
Geographer, licensed city guide, tour leader, musician, actor and photographer.
I was born in 1984 in Gdańsk, but I spent a significant part of my life in Gdynia (the youngest of the three cities forming the Tri-City agglomeration). I have Kashubian origins on my mother's side, so I am a native of flesh and blood.
Why did I become a city guide? I have a master's degree in geography, and during my studies I started traveling. I am in love with Southeast Asia. The world has always been, is and will be an extremely interesting place. So I am glad that I have the opportunity to introduce a small part of it to my guests, and since I am an open person and I like to expand my horizons, meeting people from other corners of the globe gives me great satisfaction.
I have always tried to make my life interesting. Apart from tourism, I am passionate about music, film and sport. I am a musician, I play electric guitar, bass guitar, and a bit of synthesizer. I had the opportunity to compose music for independent films and theater performances. Music is my sincerest form of personal expression. I also sometimes work as an actor (I even starred in a spectacular Bollywood production, or rather Kollywood), photographer and camera operator (I shot promotional materials for my region). Generally, I don't like to be bored and I definitely don't want to bore others. I will be happy to show you places, both characteristic of northern Poland and my home region, and those located slightly off the official trails. If you have no idea how to visit Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia or nearby areas, don't worry. I will be happy to design a tour tailored to your individual needs, and you can find more about it in the "tours" tab.
See you :),
Bart
